We’re taking a quick break from recording to join the amazing Lera Lynn for one of our best shows yet. We will be playing the beautiful Buckhead Theater on Saturday, August 27. Doors open at 8pm.

THE CIRCUS NEVER SLEEPS
It’s been a busy few weeks. We recently headed to Echo Mountain Studios in Asheville, NC to record new songs for all of you. So far, the tracks sound incredible. We can’t wait to share them with you, but until we do, we’re not taking a break.

ALBINO SKUNK FESTIVAL
Here’s one show we are really excited about: We will be playing the 2011 Albino Skunk Festival in Greer, SC on Saturday, October 8. Yes, we asked the same question–here is a link to a pic of an albino skunk. They are the real deal and so is this festival. Past Albino Skunk line-ups have included Cadillac Sky, Steep Canyon Rangers, Packway Handle Band and the Avett Brothers, and we are glad to join the ranks. Come join us for a weekend of BBQ and music. There’s even camping on-site if you want to stay. Check the Albino Skunk site for more details.

We will also be playing 356 in Clemson, SC on the Friday before the show. Keep checking back for more details.

THE CLASSIC CITY AMERICANA FESTIVAL, ATHENS GA – SUN, JULY 3
A whole day of Bluegrass and Americana music in the ancient city of music, Athens, GA. Sunday, July 3. The bands at this event are top-notch–Packway Handle Band, Mountain Heart, Patterson Hood (from Drive-By Truckers) and many others. Your very own 7HC goes on at 6:45pm and will be hanging out during the whole festival. Come find us. We’ve been getting some great press for this event (Athens Banner-Herald & Flagpole). Come on out! BACKSTAGE WITH MUMFORD & SONS
And finally, more video of us playing with Mumford and Sons at the Fox. After the show, we set up a jam session with Mumford and Sons and The Low Anthem in the middle of the Fox Theater seats. A bottle of Makers and several songs later, Fox staff told us to move the party backstage.…
